How it works
How Loan Hotline works
Seven steps from 'I need to talk to someone' to funding — and the first three take less time than waiting on hold.
- 1
1. Pick what you need help with (a couple of minutes, optional)
Use the call-prep tool to choose your topic, amount, urgency, state and best time. You get a short have-this-ready checklist and your call window in local time.
- 2
2. Request the call-back (about 60 seconds)
A short form: amount, purpose, state, time in business, property, anything awkward. No credit check when you first enquire.
- 3
3. A specialist reads it
A real person looks at your situation and starts thinking about realistic options before ringing — so you don't have to repeat yourself.
- 4
4. We ring you in your window
The call may come from a number you don't recognise. Expect questions about purpose, trading, debts, security and your way out, and ask your own.
- 5
5. Options, in plain English
What's realistic, what each option involves and what it costs in dollars. If borrowing isn't the answer, we'll say so.
- 6
6. Documents and approval — only if you go ahead
We tell you exactly what's needed. Any credit check, valuation or formal assessment happens at this stage, not before.
- 7
7. Funding
Funds are paid to your account or directly to whoever needs paying — the ATO, a supplier, a previous lender.
What makes a call-back different?
With a normal phone line, the useful conversation starts after you've waited, explained and been transferred. With a call-back, it starts straight away, because the person who rings has already read what you need. You also choose when — which matters when you're on site at 7am, serving a lunch rush, or two or three hours behind the east coast.

How to make the first call count
Five minutes of preparation goes a long way. The call-prep tool gives you a checklist for your situation, the Call-Ready Check shows which gaps to close, and our 15-minute pre-call routine covers the time just before your window.
Please fill in the request accurately. The amount, your state and any property you own make the biggest difference to matching you properly first time.
Common questions
Does requesting a call-back affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire or when we talk through options. A credit check only comes up if you decide to go ahead.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. Your request stays with one team and a real person works on it. No lead selling, no spray-and-pray.
Can I choose when you call?
Yes. Pick a preferred window in your own local time. The call-prep tool shows how it lines up across time zones and daylight saving.
What if I miss the call?
The specialist will usually try again and may leave a message or text. You can also send a short new request mentioning the missed call and a better window.
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on the option and your paperwork. The first call will give you a realistic timeline for your situation, including what could slow it down.
Pick a time. We'll do the ringing.
Tell us what you need help with in about a minute. A real specialist calls in the window you choose — no credit check to ask, and your details aren't passed around.
